The Feminist Library (Registered Charity No. 272410) has no access to core funding, and relies entirely on the generosity of individual donors. Our supporters recognise that our collection is not only invaluable to researchers, but also a vital space in which feminist scholars and activists can learn about the history of the movement and better understand their place in it.
Your donation will support the management committee’s efforts to preserve this important and historic collection at a time when archives around the UK are increasingly at risk. We use these funds to cover core costs and develop our ongoing outreach programme.

Your text is free and there will be no charge to the library, so it is a very easy and cost-effective way to donate. Donations are capped at £10 – So, for example, you can simply text “FLIB35 £10” to 70070 and the library gets £10 – yes, it is that easy! You will have to make sure that you have this credit on your phone if you are on a ‘pay as you go’ scheme. You will receive a text confirmation, with a link to a Gift Aid form.
