TRANS GIRL TAKE OVER: exhibition private view / potluck

July 19 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Beyond trans inclusion – give the girls the keys. The opening night of the exhibition is a transfem-only potluck and open discussion. We’ll talk about what transfeminism means to us, what we need and want from feminist spaces, and communicating transfem experience through art. Please bring some food or drink to share (no alcohol, but pub afterwards x) THIS EVENT IS TRANSFEM ONLY.

About the exhibition:

Whatever happens, you’re my sister. This title refers to the boundless solidarity between trans women. For every scrap, squabble, and fallout, come to me if you’re low on E or need a couch to crash on. We invited members of the community to submit their art, writing, and ephemera on transfem life and transfeminist organising. Curated by trans women involved in the library, the exhibition ranges from campaign posters to cutting-edge graphic design and everything in between.

The exhibition will be open to the public from July 20th to September 15th.
