The event “Radical Spatial Practice” has carefully chosen speakers to participate in a panel to discuss and reflect on key themes of intersectional feminism within architecture and the built environment (i.e. race, gender, sexuality, disability and accessibility).
Participants in the panel share common values ingrained in intersectional feminism. Within their own practice, each individual investigates and challenges discourse surrounding spatial practice to facilitate a more transformative and inclusive present. All speakers have a background in architecture but are also involved in design education and work across disciplines and collaborations with other artists and makers.
The event will start at 6.30 and continue until approximately 9.30 pm with 4 speakers presenting (approx. 20 mins per person) and end with questions and an open discussion.
