Join us at the Feminist Library for a rare screening of Jessica Dunn Rovinelli’s 2019 film So Pretty. Rovinelli’s film is an intimate portrayal of trans and genderqueer relationships in the 21st century, following two couples living and creating together in a Brooklyn apartment. Mixing exquisitely poised interior scenes with pseudo-documentary realism on the city streets, So Pretty stands out as a contemporary queer film in its understated focus on community.
This is a community screening, with all ticket sales going to Angel Labradorite, a young trans asylum seeker. Attendees are strongly encouraged to donate to her GoFundMe.
Mask wearing is also encouraged and masks will be made available.
