Butch Lineages: why does our history matter?

March 26 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

It’s a big question, but this will be a chill session. We’ll be getting hands-on with the library collection – which contains zines, poetry, periodicals from all over the world, and other bits and bobs. We’ll ask eachother some questions about how Butch Lineages works, what we’re each looking for in exploring our history, and why it’s important to us. We’ll think about what it means to be looking for (and making) our history in an accessible, non-academic way.

This is a great session for newcomers, people interested in the core programme, or anyone who wants to have more insight into how we work. No tickets, no RSVP, just turn up xo

Butch Lineages is a community learning group by-and-for Butch Lesbians. All kinds of dykes are welcome, we are trans inclusive, and made up of people with different levels of knowledge. This project is only open to Butches dykes and dykes who love us.
