The Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) is the leading professional body for librarians, information specialists and knowledge managers, with members in the UK and internationally. The conference, taking place in Brighton, 4th – 5th July, has a fantastic line up of speakers, seminars and workshops.

As an unfunded and volunteer run library it is usually impossible for us to attend these kind of events.
Thanks to this kind opportunity, we can now meet publishers who might provide books to the Library, and pick up valuable tips about how to run our library even more effectively.
