Being a Friend costs as little as £3 a month. The Feminist Library has never received regular funding, and our Friends are the only reliable source of income we have. As the longest surviving library of our kind, and as a grassroots organisation, we are eternally grateful to our friends for keeping the lights on and keeping Feminist history alive. If every friend paid us £3 a month, it would take 800 friends to cover our basic running costs – that’s rent and three part-time workers on London Living Wage.
