Butch Lineages: Core Programme info session

Butch Lineages is a DIY history and community group by and for Butch lesbians and their friends.
This new experiment is a core series of sessions where we help eachother get to grips with some of the fundamental moments from our past. What were the lesbian separatists actually up to? Before there was Butch, what were we? Where did Butches stand in the 80s TERF wars? For most of us our history can feel a bit foggy.
In the Core Programme the same group of Butches will meet every other month to reflect on books, accounts, and films about these moments in our history. As a group we’ll learn, share knowledge and carry eachother along. The Core Programme is, like everything we do, collaborative and guided by participants. Previous knowledge of dyke history is def not needed.
