The Feminist Library is a large collection of Women’s Liberation Movement literature based in London. We are a library and community space and support research, activist, and community projects. In 2020 The Feminist Library celebrated 45 years of archiving and activism. Mainly volunteer run, we have created and looked after one of the most important collections of feminist material in the UK and provided an inspiring learning and social space for thousands of people. We currently have no consistent public funding, relying on donations, occasional grants, and voluntary labour. We are grassroots and experience a lot of precarity, and want to work towards a more stable position while retaining our ethos.

The Feminist Library is an anti-sectarian, intersectional feminist space. We will not tolerate sexism, homophobia, racism, transphobia, nor oppressive language or behaviour based on any structural inequality, including disability, socio-economic status, sexuality, age, education, religious affiliation, or gender expression.

To apply for this role please send an email to admin@feministlibrary.co.uk with a CV and a few words (max 500) regarding how you approach fundraising and working with grassroots organisations like us. If you prefer, you can send this in a video or recorded audio format, at the same email address (please use weTransfer or a cloud service). Please let us know of any accessibility requirements in advance via email.
