We’re very excited to be hosting The Feminist Library Talk + Q&A with Magda Oldziejewska @magdaoljejor (a fundraising co-ordinator and member of the management collective and premises team) & Eva Megias @pops_comixs (a member of the creative/curatorial team) on Friday 9 August as part of South London Zine Festival 2019! Talk starts at 7.30pm, everyone is welcomed to join in, grab a drink and chat!

Magda Oldziejewska is also a feminist activist, blogger, artist and organiser. She has been involved in setting up several feminist groups, particularly, in the last few years, with a focus on supporting the reproductive rights struggle in Poland, where she comes from, and international solidarity; FARSA and alfa-fem are both Polish feminist activist groups based in London. Her Feminist Spaces zine is on display in the festival. Copies will be available to buy on the evening of 9th Aug, during the Feminist Library talk.

The Feminist Library organises a variety of events, including zine making workshops. Examples of zines produced in Feminist Library workshops on display include Women of Westminster and A Feminist Space Is… both produced by members of Feminist Library curatorial team, Emma Thatcher and Eva Megias, in collaboration with other volunteers and workshop attendees.

Copies will be available to buy on the evening of 9th Aug, during the Feminist Library talk, as well as in the Feminist Library bookshop during its opening hours.
