Due to popular demand, B A R D O, the interconnected audio walk and workshop series, is now running monthly through 2017.
B A R D O is a monthly audio walk running between the Library in Waterloo and the British Museum in Bloomsbury. The walk, lasting between 90-120 minutes, explores fiction writing, the Library’s herstory, and selected London landmarks.
April 15th, starts at Feminist Library, 2pm.
Tickets £5, payable on the door.

Live readers en-route have included B A R D O workshop participants Herpreet Kaur Grewal and Sina Sujatha Schwache. With an original soundtrack by Stuart Bowditch and vocals by Maggie Nicols and Sarah O’Mahoney.
B A R D O is also a loosely structured writing workshop, exploring aspects of the Library’s collection. Incorporating somatic meditation and reading out loud by candlelight. No experience necessary.
Dates: 28th February and 28th March, at the Library, 7-9pm. £5 per session.

Devised, written and led by the Library’s inaugural Writer in Residence, Caroline Smith, B A R D O, (the crossing from one realm to the next), is open to all those identifying as female, all ages (18+) and all levels of writing experience. The project is supported by Arts Council of England.
