The Feminist Library: a short film is a 30 minute documentary which traces the library’s history and documents a crucial moment when the library is fighting for its very survival. The film consists of a series of interviews with volunteers past and present, exploring the library’s history and importance as an archive, and discussing issues in feminism today.
The film is directed by Anais Charles, a passionate feminist and storyteller who is beginning a career in independent media and journalism. The Feminist Library is her first film.
